Is the Program at MTCVI accredited?

Middle Tennessee Cardiovascular Institute is a new institution offering a new program as of 2018. An institution must be in operation for 2 years to apply for accreditation with the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES). That process then can take an additional 18-24 months. Once an institution is accredited with ABHES, it is then eligible to apply for accreditation with the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP). MTCVI is committed to completing this process in due time, and providing students with the best education possible now and in the future.

Middle Tennessee Cardiovascular Institute (MTCVI) is authorized by the Tennessee Higher Education Commission. This authorization must be renewed each year and is based on an evaluation of minimum standards concerning the quality of education, ethical business practices, and fiscal responsibility.
